Legal Agreements between Apple, Yella and users of Yella products
User Agreement
Unless explicitly stated in the Yella FAQ, users are bound by the Apple End User License Agreement that can be found here. In addition to the standard Apple EULA, the user permits Yella iOS Applications to transmit and use the following user information:
- User Email Address
- User Telephone Number
Acceptable Use
Yella transmits the following information from user's iOS devices solely for the purpose of providing call recording functionality to the user:
- User telephone conversations and audio generated by the user
- User telephone number so that the call recorder can associate the caller id with the user's saved profile
- User email address so that multiple iOS devices can share the same payment plan for call recordings. This is also the email address where recordings (calls and audio) are delivered by default.
Privacy Policy
Yella servers securely store user information solely for the purpose of associating audio data on the servers with valid Yella users. The telephone number and email address are meant only to provide recording functionality to users. It will not be used to solicit any services or additional products from the users. It will also not be sold/transferred to any other service or company. It will not be used for any marketing purpose. The Yella privacy policy can also be found here.
